Do you allow pets?

Yes, we are now a pet friendly community! We charge a $250 non-refundable pet deposit fee and a $25 monthly pet rent. Permitted animals must weigh no more than 50 lbs. and aggressive breeds are not permitted. 

What if I don't have a roommate?

With our roommate matching service, we can easily accommodate you—even if you don't have anyone to live with or enough roommates to fill an apartment. We have partnered with RoomSync to provide a modern matching platform where residents choose their own roommates. After you complete the leasing process you will be emailed a link to join our RoomSync network. You will then log in to RoomSync using Facebook, create a matching profile, and begin your search to find your new best friend - or roommate for starters. If you already have a roommate in mind, you can confirm your roommate request within RoomSync.

How are rooms assigned?
Residents who already have preferred roommates can confirm their roommate match requests using RoomSync, our roommate matching platform. If they do not already have a roommate, residents will search for and choose their own roommate using RoomSync. Residents will be able to communicate with each other during and after the selection process. In the event that potential roommates discover that they are no longer compatible, they can request a different roommate and we will do our best to accommodate any change request. To provide sufficient time and the greatest opportunity for residents to find the perfect roommate, they should apply and sign a lease as early as possible.
Is parking available?

Parking is available in Roosevelt Point’s parking garage for a monthly charge. All spaces are assigned to residents and the parking garage is gated and private. Each resident that rents a parking space will use their apartment’s front door access card to allow you access to the parking garage. The garage has direct access to the North Building.

How close to campus are you?

We are only 3 blocks from campus!

What types of apartments/rooms are available?

We have five different types of apartments available, including studio, 1x1, 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 apartments. Each of those types has different floor plans/layouts to choose from. It’s all up to you! More information is available from our leasing office staff.

What types of leases are available?

We lease by the bedroom and by the unit at Roosevelt Point. When you lease by the bed, that means your monthly rent covers your bedroom only. The benefit of this is that you cannot be held responsible if your roommate does not pay or is late with his or her rent.

Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?

Great news! We have a great feature that lets you pay online! View your balance, submit electronic checks or pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover from any computer. You can even submit maintenance requests! Just log on to our website, click the “Pay Rent” link. This will take you to our resident rent pay portal. There is a small convenience charge for this service.

How many people live there?

We have 609 bedrooms in 326 apartments. These are split between the North Building and the South Building. The North Building has seven stories, and the South Building has eight stories.

What size are the beds?

Our furnished units offer full-size extra-long Tempur-Pedic beds. We recommend queen size linens.

Will you send me a bill each month for rent?

We do not send invoices for your Monthly Base Rent. Your copy of the lease serves as your bill.

When is my first payment due?

Our first payment is due July 15th. There is no payment due in August, and the next payment due is September 1st.

If I am over 21, do I need to have a guarantor?

You have the option to qualify on your own. Every lease has the option to have a Guarantor regardless of age.

What is the cost?

When can I move in?

Our move in date is August 14th.

Can I use my financial aid?

Yes, however, you should be sure to check with your scholarship/loans/grants, etc to make sure you can apply Financial Aid to off-campus housing. You are responsible for the payment, not the University or Financial Aid company. We do not accept deferments; you must have the money given to you in some form and then you can pay us.

Can I request an apartment or roommates?

Roommate requests are first consideration for room assignments. Apartment preferences are taken into consideration but are not guaranteed. We do our best to satisfy all of your requests.

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?
Additional furniture is more than welcome to be brought in. However, due to storage constraints, we cannot remove furniture from furnished units.
